The interlaced trellis dome creates this beautiful light effect, inspired by the Mashrabiya - a traditional Islamic architectural element. How to reach the Louvre Abu Dhabi

You do not have to stress about how to reach Louvre Abu Dhabi as this fascinating museum is well connected by roadways and waterways. If you are arriving by car or a taxi, all you need to do is take the Saadiyat Island / Yas Island exit onto Sheikh Khalifa Highway - E12. Then, take the Yas Highway to the Cultural District / Louvre Abu Dhabi. From Dubai, drive on E11 till you reach Saadiyat Island/Yas Island Exit. Abu Dhabi City Bus 94 and Abu Dhabi Shuttle bus also ply to and fro from Saadiyat Island. From Dubai, the Culture Express can take you to Louvre Abu Dhabi free of cost. You can also arrive at this museum via water taxis as well from Marsa Mina and Abu Dhabi Port’s Cruise Terminal.

Louvre Abu Dhabi Timings

Museum timing: 10:00 am till midnight every day (except on Mondays).

Art galleries and exhibition venues: 10:00 am to 6.30 pm on weekdays and 10:00 am to 8.30 pm on weekends.

Some galleries may close without prior intimation when the installation of new artworks is carried out. The cafes and restaurants stay open till 10:00 pm. The Louvre Abu Dhabi timings can differ during Ramadan months hence, it is always good to check their website for the latest timings.


Louvre Abu Dhabi Tickets

For 18 years and above, you have to purchase an Admission ticket for AED 63 that will give access to galleries, exhibitions, cafes inside the museum, Fouquet’s Abu Dhabi and boutique and plazas inside the dome. There are no Louvre Abu Dhabi tickets for those under the age of 18, UAE senior citizens, journalists and people of determination; they can explore the museum free of cost.
